Last week, SNAICC launched the 2023 Family Matters report ,examining what governments are doing to turn the tide on over representation and the outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
Family Matters aims to eliminate the over-representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in out-of-home care within a generation (by 2040).
As you may know, the SNAICC launch last week had some technical difficulties, affecting some of the online attendee’s ability to dial in. The good news is that the launch was recorded, and you can find it here.
Fams will continue to work in genuine partnership with AbSec and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations to achieve this goal.
