Working with Children Week begins next week from the 19th-25th June.
This annual event raises awareness of key child safe requirements in NSW, including the Working with Children Check and the Child Safe Standards.
Fams would like to acknowledge and celebrate all of the incredible workers in the child space and thank you for all that you do to keep children safe in NSW.
This year’s theme is suitable and supported staff. As organisations, we must do our part to make sure the staff working with children are suitable and supported. This can include emphasising child safety in recruitment, or providing an appropriate induction so that all staff understand their child safety responsibilities.
