NADA will host a cross-sector forum to build partnerships between non-government alcohol and other drug (AOD) and other health and human services.
The forum aims to:
- Improve coordination between NGO AOD and health and human services sectors (including DCJ, child protection, correctional and housing services, NGO family, housing, domestic and family violence)
- Build partnerships across the sectors that will improve outcomes for people experiencing AOD and other co-occurring issues, and
- Provide a forum for staff/services to network and connect.
This year’s event will focus on rural and regional areas, but will be relevant for staff working anywhere in NSW.
The forum is a hybrid event and will be held at the Dubbo Western Plains Cultural Centre as well as streamed via Zoom.
This cross-sector forum provides a unique opportunity for NADA members and others to hear from leading practitioners, network, meet and build a more connected system.
