Following the release of the draft Family Preservation Program Specifications, Fams convened a debrief and discussion session with the Family Preservation Network on 26 March 2025.
Seventy sector representatives identified the absence of critical details, limited engagement opportunities and implications for practice as their core concerns.

As Family Preservation recommissioning progresses, Fams will continue to advocate for, connect, and inform services – ensuring our sector remains strong in its vital work of keeping children safe, supporting families, and building supportive communities.
