As Budget Estimates are approaching, Fams has released our 2024 Budget Submission.
The paper outlines three main asks: A 25 per cent increase in funding across early intervention and prevention, prioritising Aboriginal families, investing funds into an evidence-based playgroup enhancement program, smalltalk, and calling on the NSW Government to address the Australian Child Maltreatment Study by establishing a state-based government and sector taskforce.
