The University of Sydney is desperately seeking university placements for their Social Work Program for Semester 2 (beginning the end of July – ending mid-November).
Taking students on placement is a great way to build a qualified and quality workforce by igniting their interest in working in the TEI and Family Preservation programs upon graduation.
Fams has taken on many student placements, which has even led to new Fams employees. We’ve found it to be such a worthwhile experience and opportunity to assist the need for more social workers across the sector.
The University of Sydney appreciates that taking a student on placement is an additional commitment, and they are willing to provide external supervision to assist.
