Collaboration to Harness Research Involving Safe & Together: Inquiry and Evidence (CHRISTIE)

Collaboration to Harness Research Involving Safe & Together: Inquiry and Evidence (CHRISTIE)

DVNSW has released an Expression of Interest (closing on 7th May) for specialist DFV services working in collaboration with child and family services, to participate in the CHRISTIE research project (Collaboration to Harness Research Involving Safe and Together: Inquiry and Evidence).

The project provides an opportunity for DFV and child and family services to collaborate and undertake Safe & Together training jointly, engage in communities of practice and apply the Safe & Together model in their work.

Safe and Together is an internationally renowned model of working with families impacted by domestic and family violence. It focuses on:

  • Perpetrator patterns of behaviour
  • The impact on the safety and wellbeing of adult and child victims
  • Partnering with survivors in ways that recognise their strengths and improve their safety.

This is a wonderful opportunity to receive free training in the Safe & Together Model and contribute to a strong evidence base across NSW.
