To celebrate NAIDOC Week, the Fams team headed out to different NAIDOC events across Greater Sydney.
Lauren headed out to Penshurst for the 3Bridges and Georges River Council NAIDOC week Youth & Family Day.
“It was fantastic to be able to catch up with the folks from 3Bridges Community Service, Blaq Aboriginal Corporation, Healing Our Way and 2Connect Youth and Community service and hear about the inspirational work they are doing with children, young people and families in the local area,” Lauren said.
Susan & Lisa attended the Weave Yarn, Tea & Tucker in Waterloo, where they witnessed an incredible and intimate event in honour of local Elders.
Bronte & Sam are venturing to Blacktown next week to attend the Junaya Family Development Services NAIDOC event.
