Are you a TEI service from Western Sydney, Nepean Blue Mountains, Sydney, South Eastern Sydney or Northern Sydney? You’re invited to meet with Barnardos Australia and hear about the Family Connect and Support (FCS) program in your District.
The journey of a referral will be used as a way to explain different referral pathways between FCS and TEI services in upcoming Zoom workshops for your district, starting on Monday 20th September at 12 noon.
Family Connect and Support (FCS) is a free, state-wide early intervention and prevention service for vulnerable children, young people and their families, which replaced the Family Referral Service program in January 2021.
FCS is designed to provide coordination of high-quality, evidence-based, wrap-around support services for families experiencing challenges as early as possible.
FCS works with families to assess and understand their needs, and link them to appropriate support services. FCS can also help resource other services by providing information that can be helpful to families.
We encourage services to attend the workshop for their district (below) to meet the FCS team for your area and hear about local arrangements.
