SSTF funds released

The NSW Government will contribute the remaining $5.5 million from the Social Sector Transformation Fund (SSTF) to more than 550 organisations to help improve digital service delivery.

When the NSW Government made the SSTF Budget commitment in November 2020, small-medium front line services were thrilled to finally get direct resources to meet critical business needs to improve outcomes for clients.

Alister Henskens SC MP, Minister for Families, Communities and Disability Services, has removed the final barriers to get this money into essential services.

There was risk this money would need to be returned to NSW Treasury because it was not distributed by 30 June 2021. Fams took this issue to our peak colleagues, and with their support we have been successful in ensuring the full amount goes where it was intended.

DCJ has emailed eligible organisations directly.
