At the end of January a group of 15 NSW peak bodies signed a joint letter to Premier Gladys Berejiklian.
“NSW peak bodies are working together to support work currently being undertaken by the sector as well as planning for the challenges of bushfire recovery in fire affected communities. The services and organisations we represent are embedded in their communities and in it for the long haul. Many of the NGOs in bushfire areas have been directly impacted by the fires and are committed to the recovery of the communities that they serve.”
