This week, Susan and Lisa met with the Children’s Guardian, Steve Kinmond, and his team to discuss the implementation of the Child Safe Standards in our sector.
Actions from the meeting included:
- The development of an overarching governance committee
- An early intervention and prevention NGO working group overseeing implementation
- The development of a roadmap for the sector
Our first working group meeting will be held on Wednesday 25 September at 1pm.
