Meet Amanda: Bringing Experience, Passion and Purpose to Fams!

We’re delighted to introduce Amanda as our newest Policy & Practice Officer. She brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to improving outcomes for children, young people and families.

A values-driven social worker, Amanda is passionate about empowering families, strengthening communities and promoting the safety, wellbeing and positive development of children.

Amanda said:

“I believe accessible, early intervention and prevention supports are essential to helping children, young people, families and communities thrive, build resilience and have their voices heard. I was drawn to this role by Fams’ collaborative work with the sector and their advocacy for stronger policies and better resourcing.“

We’re excited to have Amanda on board as we continue working alongside our sector to strengthen early intervention and prevention and advocate for better outcomes for children, young people and families across NSW.
