National Child Protection Week & Opportunity to Attend!

National Child Protection Week & Opportunity to Attend!

This week marks National Child Protection Week (6–12 September) – a time to come together and consider the role we can all play in keeping children and young people safe, supported and heard.

This year’s theme, Every Conversation Matters, Shifting Conversation to Action, is a reminder that while important conversations can build understanding and spark change, it’s what we do next that makes a difference.

That’s why we’re excited to be part of A Smarter Investment: The Economics of Early Intervention, a National Child Protection Week luncheon hosted by Marist180 with support from Commonwealth Bank.

The conversation will draw on new research commissioned by Fams and undertaken by Lumenia, exploring the social and economic value of investing in Community and Family Support Services. Our CEO, Susan Watson, will also be speaking on the day, representing Fams as part of this important conversation.

Marist180 has generously offered Fams five places for members of our sector to attend the luncheon.

Date: Friday 11 September
Time:
12:00pm–2:30pm
Location:
Commonwealth Bank Place, Sydney

Would you like to join us? Express your interest below for one of the five available places.

Lucky winners will be informed on Tuesday 8th at 2pm.
