NSW’s new Thriving Kids model continues to take shape, with a phased rollout of supports designed to strengthen outcomes for children and families.
From October 2026, general supports will begin, including parent peer support programs and supported playgroups for children aged 0–5 years.
From January 2027, targeted supports are expected to be introduced, including goal-focused interventions, allied health therapies and play-based supports delivered by both government and non-government organisations. A central intake process will be managed by DCJ.
Fams will continue to keep members informed as further information becomes available.
