Fams hosted a Sector Conversation joined by DCJ to unpack the news of a 6-month extension of TEI & FCS contracts.
Thank you to the 150+ participants who attended. Participants represented all NSW districts and funding streams.
We know the 6-month extension can create instability and concern. Fams will continue to advocate on behalf of the sector and hold decisionmakers accountable.
What’s next?
- 89% of participants said that they would like another session to unpack this further. Fams will work to arrange this and keep the sector informed of our next session as soon as possible.
- Any questions that were taken on notice or not answered will be sent to DCJ for response.
- We’ll be writing to Minister Kate Washington about the sector’s concerns.
