During our TEI specs consultations, two themes emerged consistently: financial sustainability and the critical need for affordable and high-quality professional development.
Have your say on both issues with CCWT and NCOSS.
Financial pressure and funding issues
NCOSS – the peak body for the social service sector in NSW – are engaging with services to bring attention to increasing financial pressures felt by the sector to government.
NCOSS will use your responses (deidentified in reports) to advocate for strengthening the sector, including through the Secure Jobs and Funding Certainty initiative, and in its pre-budget submission for 2025-26. The survey is for those in management roles or for staff who have knowledge of their organisations’ finances.

Professional Development
Training was seen as essential for keeping staff engaged and motivated, protecting against burnout, and enhancing the overall quality of practice within the community services sector.
The Centre for Community Welfare Training (CCWT) invites you to contribute to shaping their 2025 training calendar. This survey can help to ensure there are options available to meet your team’s professional development needs. Participate in the survey here.
