This year’s Child Protection Week focuses on the theme ‘Every Conversation Matters’. We are thrilled to announce a special sector discussion shedding light on the intersection of gambling harm, children, and young people.
Were you aware that parental influence is the most significant predictor of future gambling harm among young people?
This event aims to:
- Raise awareness about gambling harm
- Emphasise the importance of community service workers being knowledgeable about gambling harm
- Offer practical resources and networking opportunities for the sector
We have invited Kate Da Costa, Wesley Mission’s Campaign Lead, to join us and address this critical issue while showcasing practical resources available to the sector. Kate presently leads Wesley Mission’s gambling reform campaigns and was the NSW Campaigner for the Alliance for Gambling Reform.
