The AusAlert national test is taking place on Monday 27 July at 2:00pm.
The test will appear on compatible mobile phones as an emergency alert and will sound even when devices are set to silent or “Do Not Disturb”.
For some people experiencing domestic and family violence, a concealed phone may be an important part of a safety plan.
This is an important opportunity to check in with people we support about technology safety and ensure they have the information they need to make decisions that support their wellbeing and safety.
