What is A District Rep

FamS has members in all districts across New South Wales. Each district elects a person to act as a District Representative. The District Representative has the responsibility of convening meetings, acting as a conduit between us and our members, and attending District Reps Forums in Sydney three or four times a year.

District meetings are attended by members to share information about their respective organisations and programs, discuss issues relevant to their work and to also gain insight on the work FamS is doing. District Representative Forums are held three or four times a year and provide an opportunity for representatives come together to share important information on what is happening for members. Issues can be raised and responded to immediately.
